Terms & Conditions
These are the Terms and Conditions upon which Offshore Surf School, and any person or persons ("the Client") applying to book an activity holiday adheres to. Offshore Surf School reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Payment Terms
Bookings are not deemed as accepted until a booking confirmation is received by the client and if applicable, deposit received. - Bookings will require a 50% deposit at time of booking with balance paid on arrival. - Deposits are to be paid through Google Checkout or by cheque, payable to Offshore Surf School.
The prices printed on this web site are valid at the time of publication. Offshore Surf School reserves the right to increase or reduce any of the prices any time after publication. Any changes will be made clear at the time of booking. Offshore Surf School reserves the right to cancel or change course dates subject to notification of those persons booked on to the course.
Cancellation Terms
Any cancellations or changes to your booking must be made in writing and will only be accepted from the date they are received by Offshore Surf School. Refunds for cancellations are as follows: - 28 days or more from activity start date = full refund (minus admin costs 5%). - 14-27 days before activity start date = 50% refund. - Less than 14 days to activity start date = no refund. - Any decrease in numbers notified less than 14 days before the activity start date will still be liable for full payment, unless agreed otherwise with Offshore Surf School. - Should Offshore Surf School have cancel any activity, due to adverse weather, beach closure or flat conditions, then an alternative time to undertake the activity will be offered. If this is not suitable, then Offshore Surf School will offer a full refund to the Client of any monies paid for the activity Practical Considerations - Lesson times are subject to slight change depending upon tides and conditions, any changes will be notified in advance.
The management reserve the right to refuse to teach persons under the influence of alcohol. Such persons will be liable to pay the total amount due. - Participants in our activities must be at least 8 years old and be able to swim 50 metres. - Permission is given for participant's contact details to be entered into the Offshore Surf School database and held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. This information will not be forwarded to third parties.
The accommodation providers listed on the website; act as a guide only to assist in booking accommodation. No responsibility is taken by Offshore Surf School for the booking of any accommodation and cannot be held responsible for any aspect of or problems arising from accommodation arrangements.
Liability
Offshore Surf School shall not be liable in respect of loss of life or injury to any persons, or the loss of or damage to property. The Client accepts liability for and shall indemnify Offshore Surf School against any claim for such loss, injury or damage. - Offshore Surf School, Salt Air Coasteer and Wavecrest equipment will be used for the activity, unless previously agreed. If the participant should damage or lose any Offshore Surf School, Salt Air Coasteer and Wavecrest equipment, I agree to inform a member of Offshore Surf School, Salt Air Coasteer and Wavecrest staff and understand that the participant will have to pay for any repairs or replacements.
